Sammy Hagar Bio

Sammy Hagar was born October 13, 1947 in Monterey California. He's most know for replacing David Lee Roth as the lead singer of Van Halen, but that was not the first band he played in. In 1973, Hagar sang lead vocals for the band Montrose. In 1977 he formed his own band with three former Montrose band members.
