Nine Inch Nails Bio
To call Nine Inch Nails a band would be a mistake that anyone can make. The only member of the group, officially, is Trent Reznor. Reznor started Nine Inch Nails in 1988 and played every instrument himself. He came out with Nine Inch Nails first album in 1989 called, Pretty Hate Machine. Reznor then assembled a backing band and hit the road for a short tour. Then in 1994, Nine Inch Nails hit it big with the album, The Downward Spiral. This album spawned the hits, Closer and Hurt and Nine Inch Nails get a spot to play at the 25th anniversary Woodstock concert.
