Billy Joel Bio

Billy Joel was born May 9, 1949 in Hicksville, New York. At first, Billy was training to be a boxer and broke his nose in the process. He would then join the Hassles, a small Long Island band. In 1971, Joel began his solo career and released his debut, Cold Spring Harbor. As the years went on, Billy Joel released hit song after hit song. He released his last record in 1993 titled, River of Dreams.
