Santana Bio

Carlos Santana was born in Autlan, Mexico on July 20, 1947. In 1961, he left Mexico and moved to San Francisco. In 1966, he joined his friends to form the group the Santana Blues Band. In 1999, Santana came out with his 36th album entitled, "Supernatural," which included collaborations with artists like Rob Thomas, Everlast, and Dave Matthews. The album would go on to reach Diamond Status and recieve nine grammy awards at the 42nd annual Grammy Awards.
