Everclear Bio

Everclear was formed in 1992 by Art Alexakis when he moved from San Francisco to Portland. Art placed an ad in the paper looking for a bassist and drummer. That is when he met bassist Craig Montoya and the first drummer, Scott Cuthbert. Then in 1994, Cuthbert was replaced by Greg Eklund and in 1995 Everclear released its second album Sparkle and Fade. They then followed up in 1997 with their third album, So Much For the Afterglow.
