Creed Bio

Creed was started in 1995 in Tallahassee, Florida when Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti got together to start a band. They called on bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips and Creed was formed. They released their first album in 1997 called, My Own Prison. In 1999, they followed up with another album called Human Clay. Creed was the first band in history to to have four number one rock singles from a debut album.
