Black Crowes Bio

The Black Crowes was formed in 1984 when the Robinson brothers started playing together under the name, Mr. Crowe's Garden. In 1989, other band members joined. Jeff Cease on second guitar, Johnny Colt on bass. and Steve Gorman on Drums. They eventually changed the name to the Black Crowes and released their debut album, "Shake Your Money Maker," in 1990.
