3 Doors Down Bio

3 Doors Down came together in Escatawapa, Mississippi when friends Brad Arnold (vocals/drums) , Matt Roberts (guitar), and Todd Harrell (bass) started a band. 3 Doors Down was completed with the addition of Chris Henderson on guitar. They got their big break when they played a show at CBGB's in New York that led to a record deal with Universal Records. They added drummer Richard Liles during recording sessions to allow for Brad Arnold to concentrate more on vocals. The result of these recording sessions was a double platinum album entitled, "The Better Life." The album reached the Billboard Top 10 off the strenth of the first single, "Kryptonite."
